Suggestion for Budget 2016: Sir, Kindly consider EMI towards the purchase of plot as part of housing loan repayment (both under house property and U/s 80C). With the current real estate rates buying a plot and constructing home at one go is impossible. As a middle class individual we need time to mobilize funds for construction of house. Till such time request you to kindly consider the EMI being paid towards purchase of Plot as rebate under Income tax.

Its well known that there is a difference in the amount real estate investors pay by means of Cash (may include undeclared income) and by more legitimate means (Cheque/DD/NEFT/RTGS). Analogous to this there will be difference in the registration value of the property. Government must use this difference to curb the menace of black money. Ideally there should not be big difference in paid value in almost nearly the same location at the same time.

Hard-earned money of thousands of homebuyers is at stake, as at least 135 real estate projects have defaulted on payment of land cost to the government in Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway areas. The amount is staggering Rs 10,000 crore and it is bound to increase further, if the authorities concerned don't reschedule their debt.
Documents accessed by dna reveal that the list of defaulters include leading builders, like ATS, Unitech, Supertech, Oris , Oma

To increase revenue more people to be brought under tax system, specially from unorganised sector. This task to be done through the people already in tax bracket. May consider tax relief by submitting VAT bill details. People already in tax bracker will be encouraged, and will press for VAT bill for all purchases.

#DepartmentofRevenue, Now-a-days there are many second homes(flats),which are used as financial income source by giving on leave &license. But I would like to inform you that many owners &tenants don't register their leave &license to the registrar of the Revenue Dept.Due to this the Govt looses the Revenue like Stamp duty registration charges &Income Tax on 2nd rented house income.Information like leave &license, without registration, etc of the co-operative socities should be asked by the Govt.

Pls. remove medical bill submission for getting exemption of Rs. 15000/- Medical Allowance for Salaried Individuals.
It adds to unnecessary paper work both for the individual and employer.
