Dear Sir, For the sake of simplicity and to stop FAKE ITC in GST, reduce the GST rates by 50% and abolish ITC altogether. Believe me GST collections will increase by 10-20% in the very first year.

The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) has been pivotal in providing livelihood security. However, the current model, which largely focuses on unskilled manual labor (such as earthworks, road clearing, and land preparation), is often criticized for low productivity and a lack of durable asset creation. This proposal suggests a paradigm shift: utilizing the MGNREGA workforce and funds to establish ward-level micro-enterprises. By converting unskilled labor into skilled production, we can generate tangible economic growth and self-relianceProposed Solution: The "Ward-Industrial Model"The core proposal is to transition the workforce from maintenance work to manufacturing and production. We propose establishing small-scale industrial units in every Panchayat WardEstablishment of Ward-Level UnitsEach ward within a Panchayat will identify a viable micro-industry based on local resources and market demand. Examples include:Food Processing: Pickles, spice

The purpose of this suggestion is to highlight and correct the structural financial stress faced by urban middle-income families under the New Tax Regime, even when accounting only for strictly unavoidable, bare-minimum expenses. For a typical 6-member household in metro and Tier-1 cities, essential costs of housing, education, food, healthcare, and utilities consume a disproportionate share of net income, leaving little capacity for savings, emergencies, or long-term stability. These figures are conservative, already stressed, and exclude all discretionary spending. This submission proposes targeted, sustainable reforms in Union Budget 2026—including education, healthcare, housing, and cost-of-living support—so that the New Tax Regime fairly reflects family responsibilities and urban cost realities, ensuring economic stability rather than welfare dependence.
