We need more accountability in the government, there is corruption happening left right center in all forms and arms of the government, even the judiciary is severly affected by such issues. If the government can pass a bill where even officers, judges and netas can be punishable by law against corruption, India will immediately jump 10 years in terms of development.

Introducing a sunset clause for SEZ act, Tax exemption regime cannot be perpetual. as they they are meant to stay only for a limited period as an initial support. The Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, is now 20 years old & was originally meant to develop under developed areas . Today most SEZs especially the Software service SEZ are located only within the city limits and not in rural areas. An industry wherever possible would always prefer exports for much higher revenue possibility than catering to the Domestic markets as there are no tax exemptions and revenue possibility esp in case of a software service provider to the export markets is much higher. Thus the businesses operating from SEZs will never be at a loss if the tax concessions are withdrawn. Taxes are essential for infrastructure development, Defence, Health care and several other social causes undertaken by the Government. Its fair that every individual or corporate operating from the soil of India & earning

Realize a VIKASIT BHARATH through VKASIT KOTTAYAM (Kerala). Include KOTTAYAM city in the development projects in the railway and tourism sectors. Develop Kottayam railway station by including it in the Amrit Bharat scheme. Make the Kottayam railway coaching terminal allocated in the 2011 railway budget a reality. Start express and MEMU trains from Kottayam to solve the difficult railway journey experienced by both long-distance and short-distance passengers from Kottayam station. Build a link line between Ramapuram and Kottayam on the proposed Angamaly - Erumeli Sabari railway line and connect the route with more towns. Propose a new rail line on the Cherthala - Kumarakom - Kottayam - Punalur route.

Respected Honorable Finance Minister, Sub: Request to waive IT interest and penalties for taxpayers misled by fraud. Respected Madam, I am a private factory employee from Katpadi, Vellore. A few years ago, due to a lack of awareness, I was misled by fraudulent individuals who claimed wrongful IT refunds on my behalf for a commission. Consequently, I am now burdened with heavy penalties and interest that I am financially unable to pay. I humbly request you to forgive this error made out of ignorance. I pray that in the upcoming Budget, an order be issued to waive the accumulated interest and penalties, allowing us to pay only the original tax dues. This one-time relief would help many citizens settle their liabilities immediately. I also thank you for the current, user-friendly IT portal, which now allows me to file my own returns easily. I hope you will consider my plea with compassion. Yours respectfully, Sathiyamoorthy K (Katpadi, Vellore, TN)

Respected Sir, My suggestion for 2026-27 budget is on Indian railways. Many works are going on to improve rail infrastructure in our country but there are so many changes to be done for rural and tribal areas development. The Indian Railways can be a big game changer for connecting smaller cities with big and metro cities. The government should introduce a new trains for connecting this cities. Sir I have described this matter in detailed in pdf. file so please Sir give an opportunity to people in this budget 2026.

• Equalisation of eligibility of tax free income on PF and PPF contributions to be same for all A big flaw in our taxation system is treating individuals differently and this differentiation gives a much better advantage to employees as compared to those who are not employees. While the Finance ministry may argue that they have done away with the differentiation by introducing the New tax regime rates for the last 2 years, yet some glaring differences remain. A person who is not an employee gets to invest a maximum of Rs 1.5 Lakhs in PPF whose interest is currently exempt. A person who is an employee, apart from the interest free income on his PPF contribution upto a limit of Rs 1.50 lakh p a, he/ she gets a tax free interest on the PF contributions upto Rs 2.50 lakhs per annum. Earlier this limit was not even existing. For level playing, and from the principle of equal treatment, the tax exempt portion of the interest should be capped at the same amount
