Suggestions for Union Budget 2025-26
Dear Respected Government Officials,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to suggest a few points for consideration in the Union Budget 2025-26:
1. Increased Focus on Infrastructure Development: Enhancing infrastructure will boost economic growth and create job opportunities.
2. Promotion of Exports: Encouraging exports through tax benefits and incentives will strengthen the economy.
3. Reduction in Taxation: Lowering taxes will support businesses, especially SMEs, and promote investment.
Thank you for considering these suggestions.

Indexation of purchase price is the fair way to determine capital gains for taxation purposes and this should be fully restored. Removing indexation while calculating capital gains is tantamount to taxing the citizens for inflation. To consider the inflated value as capital gains is truly unfair. Subsequently, the option was given to take a higher tax rate with indexation benefit or lower tax rate without it. But for some reason this option is not given to NRIs!!!! Why should NRIs be treated unfairly?

Dear FM,
The following are suggestions for the budget 2025 are:-
1) A tax(more like cess) to be levied on the super rich business men on their wealth which will help the government to raise additional revenue which can be collected in the form of infra cess and used exclusively for the upgradation of our infra in urban as well as rural
2) Give concession to people or bring in scheme in order for citizen to get their annual body check up and dental check up
3) Create a taskforce for upgradation of our urban cities like Delhi Mumbai Bangalore Chennai which are increasingly becoming polluted in all aspects and are becoming unlivable for the citizens
4) More deduction for companies investing in R&D in high tech sector and defence
5) More focus on simplifying the business environment for the country in order to improve the ease of business ranking
6) A more dedicated approach in tourist site which has potential to attract tourist from abroad
