For salaried employees slab rate has not been increased since BJP government however with rising inflation where it's hard to manage household expenses slab rates needs to be increased at least to 5 lac and along with it other rebates like conveyance , driver wages should needs to be revisited as petrol, driver wages are sky roketing and rebates are still old school 90s and no one cares to revised these as if we are not citizens and our vote does not matter to government ... This is why freebies is now gaining more popularity as salaried class is being taken for granted from past several years

Pls INCREASE 80C deductions to 3lakh / 2.5/ 2 lakh as its still 1.5 Lakh for LONG DURATION. Avoid tax to all for their incom up to 5lakh or 4lakh.Reduce the tax % to 10% or 15% for the incom from 5 to 10 Lakh as these are STILL SAME FOR LAST MANY YEARS, you can evaluate &ensure that newly introduced Tax regimen 2 is not effective 1, so change the tax% & increase the exemption, standard deduction &all other deductions such as 80C.

Lower the tax slabs to encourage everyone to pay taxes. Also, no free brackets. For people earning between 1 lac to 5 lac also take only 1000 rs tax annually but no one should think that everything is free. If there are 50 cr people making between 1lac to 5 lac per annum, government will get 50,000 cr in revenue. People will get used to paying taxes. And reduce burden on others.
