There remains an *anomaly* in the INCOME TAX ACT. In case of Exemption on Gift from *Close Relatives,* the provision of the clause /word *"VICE VERSA"* is very much needed. Presently, in many cases, elderly people/Senior Citizens suffer with huge tax burden in the absence of this word.

Inflation is increasing the cost of living every year but for the last 7 years, the 80 C slab has not changed. The salaried class is crushed with all the taxes across but there are limited breathers for them. The exemption on a home loan is up to 2 lacs only this should be also revised with the rising cost of properties. We want to make sure India continues to grow but this should not be done by ignoring the salaried class who are paying taxes on everything every month. As a salaried citizen, I feel the Modi govt has done a lot for the poor and rich but ignored the middle-class employees. This budget session lets make the tax payers be happy.

The current tax slabs need to be relooked as middle class person is paying income taxes of 10-30% and when spending the balance amount in buying his daily need GST of 5-12% need to be paid. Total tax goes upto 40% to 50%. I understand taxes are necessary to develop the nation, for few thing get it through big corporate house, like each one has to adopt 20 villages across country and develop the infrastructure their in guidance of the government. Also relook into tax on LTCG as people remain invested in certain schemes to get some returns on their money but that return get shrink with LTCG tax. Also government has to take serious steps in making green zone on large scale as out of top 20 hottest cities in the world 12 are from India, if we keep ignoring this, next generations will be in serious trouble.
