Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two. NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education. NCrF will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.

NCrF will seamlessly integrate the credits earned through school education, higher education, and
vocational and skill education by encompassing the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF), National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National School Education Qualification Framework (NSEQF). It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods. The inclusive umbrella framework aims to make the options for Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit accessible and applicable across higher education, school education and vocational education, allowing students to choose their own learning trajectories and programmes.

The framework has been jointly developed by a committee constituted by the Government with members from UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, Department of School Education and Literacy & Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, DGT, and Ministry of Skill Development under the guidance of Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The Government is inviting comments and observations by the 30th of November on the document
which is available in the link below for download.

Responsible credit ! dehati wisdom. paon utne hi failao jitni chadar ! Only business, house & probably vehicle. Not easily on gadgets . Check on the maximum loan amount -- not more than 50 % of the salary as instalment payment. No more us type consumerism Education loan -- to be paid by student & not parents. Parent's must not be held liable. have a separate program. like other countries Incentives for timely payments- no defaults . Delayed penalaty charges are exorbitant. It cannot be that high even as a deterrence. how do u tackle NPA ! the officers net work & life style, NGOs , servants and all of his connections monitored closely what is govt planning not to repeat the NPA crisis. US there are financail scams/frauds aequivalent to 9/11 since .com & enron burst & now the latest crypto so easy . before that it was lehman, sub prime .. & this when e/thing is digitzed. india could not even mange PNB l/c & all high profile ran away . India can't afford even 1minor !

Way Forward: India is adopting technology at an unprecedented pace. There is a need to bring reforms to incentivise knowledge, skills & experience. Credits for knowledge acquisition, hands-on training, and positive social outcomes will be a key step for achieving 100% literacy in the next 2-3 years. All institutions, schools, ITIs, AICTE-affiliated engineering colleges, centrally-funded HEIs, state universities and regulatory authorities/bodies should host the public consultation for NCrF on their website for seeking suggestions from citizens. It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods.
