Athu thirunal is a festival that is practised in Cuddalore, but nowadays people turn away from it due to the lack of comfortability in attending it ...The day should be a local holiday where people can go and visit it ...The media should take steps to campaign the incoming of the event .

First of all, the local fairs and festivals should find a place in the school allied subject books to increase knowledge and interest among the students and the local community. Otherwise they will lose charm in the present fast pace scenario. Secondly, there should be encouraged by schools, Temples, clubs or other social Organizations. Thirdly, competitions can be organized for participants upholding the local Cultural legacy Last but not the least, more literature should be published and circulated via print and Digital media to foster the spirit of Cultural fiesta and Development for the betterment of society at Large.
