The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

1. In every district hospital there must be congenital heart disease detection as well as operation facility. 2. As India has a need to control population, so Promote family welfare programme as "Hum Do and Hamare Do" and its effective implementation. 3. Pharmacist must be trained for child health as at village level only pharmacists are directly in contact with public.

BMC (Mumbai) failed to prevent Dengue and other fatal disease. So they started blaming society chairman and secretary responsible for not taking precaitions!! This is classic example of how irresponsible Govt. Officials are. As such Chairman / Secretary jobs are thankless jobs and with such initiatives of BMC will prevent people to take responsibility and that will create more havoc and fights amongst members of society. Govt. Officials and Beaurocracy make people life stressful & unhealthy

Is money, GDP growth, Metro, Luxurious houses, Resorts etc. Improves health ???? If yes, then no rich person would have fallen sick. In fact most of the rich people are suffering from many desease like B.P. Diabetes, etc. Why??? Health is directly related to mental peace. What disturbs mental peace? Inequality of income, Beaurocracy, tax terrorism, irresponsibilty of Govt. Officials, corruption, jealousy in poor people for rich etc. Pl make people life easy and make them healthy
