The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

[PESTICIDES IN VEGETABLES/FOOD]Dear Sir, Many countries return what we export to them due to usage of banned pesticides. As we all know 'First grade' items are we export, then what would be the condition of food items we use in India? Requesting to impose strict laws to ensure health threatening pesticides are not used by farmers. Increased hospital cases are majorly due to poisoned vegetables/food.

Today i was watching aTV channel. it showed that persons from Bihar state were bound to travel in the general coach where the number of passengers was double and above of the seats available on the religious chatth mela.. My suggestion is that either there should be train having general coaches and travelling at the speed of express trains after every ten trains on the route or at the time of such occasions so that do they be not compelled to travel in non hygenic places like toilets.

Although many of us are aware of this, but I still want to bring this into notice "Food Quality in India". As much I knows india is far behind in quality food. Although we have so many food laws, but still food producer and manufacturer are really playing with life. A simple example is mixing washing powder, refined oil in milk, chemicals in vegetables etc. I just can't understand why we can't produce quality fool products?? Why don't food inspectors sell their self for some money?? Why??

Dear Sir' I would like to pass on a simple idea which will surely aid in cleaning India. It is as follows Eminent private citizens should be identified and authorized to penalize members of the public who vitiate the environment. As they would be in civil dress they will blend in with the masses thus deterring public from spitting in public and such other nuisance. Fear of public rebuke as well as a stiff fine should do the trick. But provide toilets first!

nowadays in school collecting fees which is nearly equal to college fees, even LKG admissions are based on interview in many private schools. LKG child is facing an interview , what the 3 year child know about the interview? then how education will develop in our nation. its the duty of school to teach the child.

Swach Bharat is really good initiative but it's execution by the citizen in not appreciable. People still are engaged in the same activities of throwing garbage on the road. There must be some "STRONG" law under which the individuals must be fined for throwing garbage on the road or even outside their houses. Most of the shit is produced by the people who are addicted to tobacco. They simply throw the rapper of tobacco on the road which chokes the sewage system badly during rainy season.

Swachh Bharat mission is one which will change look of the country. I observed and I faced the same while trying to remove the papers/plastic on road. Could not find dustbins near by to throw in that. If we can supply it on road that will be a good start.
