The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Roti, Kapda, Makan,(old days basic need) has been added with Road, Electricity & Water. The most important need for our life is water. If whole India interconnected with drinking water network like grid connection in electricity quality drinking water can be made available to all people by taking good steps through Gnga cleaning Yojana, for 40% of lively hood, and remaining from Narmada, Krishna, and Godavari, Hope all Indians can have free/subsidised rate drinking water sufficiently.

I recently returned from US after 4 years, was hoping to see lot of changes in Mumbai. I was disheartened to see at ground level nothing much has changed, especially the Vehicular pollution in cities has grown a lot and is my major concern. I suggest Government Of India must encourage Solar/electric vehicles on road and make it a mission. As an immediate measure to reduce vehicular pollution, exhaust pipes must be fitted with special Algae based device that would convert harmful CO2 gas in O2

I think whereas some work has been done on the topic "Say no to Tobacco" very little is done regarding "Saying No to Alcohol". We are of the view that Alcohol is 100 times more dangerous than Tobacco as it not only harms the health but takes control of the brain in very short time leading to all kinds of misbehavior inclusive accidents. It is felt that education must highlight the ill effects of alcohol. We at Sadaachaar Foundation have created a film named Pratishthaa for this purpose .

Abolish Land Ceiling laws which is a major set back for agriculture. Since land holdings have been minimised, no farmer will be able to invest in mechanisation and the inputs are also curtailed for want of decent revenue. The abolition of this act will give a bright future to agriculture in India or the ceiling of holdings can be increased from 15 standard acres to 30 or 60 standard acres which will give some interest and development for agriculture

If e governance is introduced at all levels it will avoid corruption at all levels and people need not go behind the public servants for everything. Certain duties can also be put on each citizen like voluntary uploading of birth and death. E-payment of land revenue. Online availability of patta and Chita and other revenue documents.

The revenue in village can be made by e filing and all records can be made available online. Registration department requires revamping. It must be made a hub for registration and mutation of revenue records. This will avoid legal disputes and pendency of cases in courts. If this department is properly monitored very number of issues will be solved. Ther number of writ petitions in courts. Self help schemes can be launched in villages. Villagers can be appointed to monitor village development

Village level hospitals and schools of high standards should be established in each village. It will avoid people clogging to cities. The connectivity with city to villages within 100 Kim's should be made easy so that there will not be congestion in metropolitan cities. People from those areas should be encouraged to come from home town after proper road and rail connectivity is made. This will boom the village economy. VAO in villages can be abolished or they can be given better work to do.
