"One village one lake" can solve lot of problems, In every village building some concrete Tanks it should be open so that rain water can be stored which can be used for longer period. New Dams, Putting full stop for water leakage, Allowing useful access for extra water is most important, seriously preserving rain water, Nature is giving us more than enough water in the form of Rain but we don't understand the value of it because we get that water absolutely free.

There were many natural water sheds nearby to my place. But, these have been encroached upon by many people and paddy harvesting is being done. Water which is supposed to flow in during the rainy season is being diverted away which has resulted in being sent to the sea. The locations in the map in the following url is the location of the encroached land. -- https://www.google.co.in/maps/@11.8176878,79.7196157,847m/data=!3m1!1e3 Would be good, if something is done and water is made to flow in

the soil which present in the dam can also used for agriculture purpose that taken from the dams so we can achieve two things by cleaning the dams by increasing the water storage and use the soils for agriculture which is more fertile

we have to maintain and clean all dams because the capacity of the dams are reduced due to the large amount of soils
