I have headed waste management company in Delhi and worked on this in Singapore and Understand challenges here.Focus on following things 1.Empower Ragpickers through training to handle waste segragation.2 Create infrastructure and apply technology to hold waste hygienically in the area till it is evacuated to processing or disposal site i.e Dip bin collection system(European model) or portable compactors(China Model). It will eliminate waste nuisance in the area.Resource recovery technology.

It is imp that waste should be properly segregated, collected & transported.65-75% of the money is spent on collection & transportation due to which enough money is not available for treatment.
Pneumatic Waste Collection System is a technology in which solid waste is segregated, transported & collected through pipes via suction so no open transportation of waste takes place. This technology can be used in any facility even complete city. So good to have a waste truck free city. 9212577808

Smart Waste Management is a misnomer. First we need to segregate waste at source. Biodegradable, plastics/polythene and paper. Second, awareness of baby diapers and sanitary pads. these should be taxed heavily. Use environment friendly napkins. Strengthen the waste recycling industry. empower the kabbadiwalas, make is lucrative.

First we need Plastic recycle plant in every city. Ban the plastic which cannot be reused.
Use Plastic waste in Road construction. which will be free raw material & available in plaintiff.

1) We need to divide waste into *Bio, *Paper, *plastic, *other trash with different bin colours.
2) Have neighbourhood waste collection days/timings
3) Create door to door awareness amongst public
3) Set up compost/recycle waste plants
A lot could be learned from Germany where they have an efficient waste disposal system where municipality is actively involved.

Accountability first of all.
What is the duty of concerned officials of the territory? Why should people remind them repeatedly, about their duties by memorandum. Now a days common citizen are busy with their own commitments and struggling hard to meet their day today life and how can they find time to go to officials, those who are invisible most of the time, with their own reasons. How can they inactive from their duties? Pity with the fate of common citizen! Is there anybody to answer this pls

Sir
I want to suggest that..we can put movable plastic potter potties at bus stop in delhi.I have seen so many time that people start peeing behind the bus stop while waiting for bus.Almost every bus stop is kind of pee stop for people and stinks a lot.If we can start establishing plastic potter potties which will be cleaned 3 times a day. This will help in keeping the city clean. As these are plastic made, they are cheap and can be moved around.

we have developed a system that produces bio-oil from urban solid waste/biomass. the capacity of present system is processing 40kg/hr of biomass to produce bio-oil, activated char and noncondensible gasses. further design of 200kg/hr is ready however we need funding & supprot for the same. the whole project leaves no pollution and provides big solution to problem of waste.
