There are many problems at ground level. I will list out a few:
1) Inspired by Modi ji's vision, i want to start hightech farming in my farms. But can't, because new electricity connections are not being given in western UP. So can't do anything.
2) Despite lot of spend on ads & promotions, farmers are not aware of various schemes and benefits that they can get from govt. Officials of Blocks don't move out of their offices. They do not interact with farmers. They expect cuts from subsidies.

Integrate swatch bharath, soil health improvement and smart agriculture by crushing tons of dry leaves that is collected in cities every december, into a powder with a truck mounted crusher. Hydraulic press them into pellets with added composting microbes. Distribute them to farmers to be used as manures.
It also saves the tree and environment as these leaves are mostly burnt bellow the same tree adding pollution, damaging the tree. I can develop the machine if the government shows interest.

I think we ought to think of agriculture as an industry. There is so much land that is barren which can be given to Corporates,Farmers groups and SHGs for cultivation. More investment will bring in better technology, marketing and other inputs into farming and lead to improve productivity

Thank you PM for sending water in Maharashtra reagion where there is no water at all. Would like to request you please bring a vision to the national water sharing system where a pipe lines to build through which water can be brought from any state to any required state. like from North India to South or East to West. If we can make a Pipline from Iran to India for fuel sure we can have one framework of water within india. please make this as a big project like road connectivity with your vision

I think an Engineering company (Engineers from all departments) under Govt. is needed. They can do more. Developing new projects. Finding new sites, Planning irrigation , Giving electricity 24 Hrs , application of new tools , vehicles , Product marketing etc.

Youngsters have to get into agriculture and agriculture can draw their attention only if its able to make good return on investment. The best way to do it is to remove middle men. Now a days farmers are forming groups and starting Producer Companies which in my view is a smart initiative where they are able to sell their own produce without middle man in a corporate level. I would recommend our government to take steps in promoting more such companies all over India.
