Overview:-

The Internet of Things (IoT) can transform the agriculture industry and enable farmers to contend with the enormous challenges they face. The industry must overcome increasing water shortages, limited availability of lands, fertility of lands difficult to manage cost, while meeting the increasing consumption needs of a global population that is expected to grow by 70% by 2050.

Objective:-

New innovative IoT applications will address these issues and help in increasing the quality, quantity, sustainability and cost effectiveness of agricultural production. For example, leverage IoT can be leveraged to allow the farmers to evaluate the soil conditions, moisture level, livestock feed levels density and level of pest control. say if the level of pest control exceeds prescribed range, through sensors alarm and alerts can be generated to warn the farmers to take actions.

The purpose of “Smart Farming” is to increase the quality and quantity of agricultural production by using sensing technology to make farmers more intelligent and more connected.

With the help of this discussion platform we request you to share your valuable inputs on:

• How an individual or an organization may contribute to Smart Farming.
• Experiences and challenges in using technology as a tool in farming.
• Practical/workable solutions for complete imposition of the future of farming- “Smart Farming” using IoT

Lady's who are free and wants to do social work can take small amount from all who are interested for pure desi cow milk and ghee... From that amount we can buy few cows...n give 1 add for any donor of land just to keep cows n also organic farming... donor will get milk as Token of donation. To send milk we can take help of school van... Also plastic covers circulate in society to put vegetable waste.

My idea if a govt plan for corporate farming, where neighbor farmers will give there land as a share, and the small land will become a big land, and all the farmers collectively do with the support of the govt and share there profits according to the land. this will help them in bringing new technology like tractors, drips irrigation will surely increase the productivity. this could only happen when govt in the village, farmers are given fixed salary and share of profit according to there land

smart farming =smart farmers marketing sector of farmers need to be improved by concept "farmers to local",as intermediates are engulfing profits of farmers and "Producer is not consumer",as consumer is full and producer is empty pockets . -mixed cropping -crops+horticulture+silviculture.need to be promoted. -concept of returing farm waste to farm need to be promoted . -govt.should give interest free loans to farmers . -Biofarming should be promoted.women role upgrade
