One of the important endeavors of the present government has been to improve the 'Ease of Living'. In simple words, this means that the citizen-government interface, in matters of daily routine, must be made as seamless as possible and as citizen friendly as possible. Among other things, this has translated into reforming many rules and regulations and in an overwhelming number of cases completely doing away with such antediluvian rules which had not only outlived their utility, but in many cases were frankly anti-people. The mandate has been clear - between the citizens and the governments, the rules and processes must defer to ensuring the ease of living of citizens.

Consider for example the earlier rule of seeking gazetted officers attestation to validate one's documents before appearing in exams. That rule is now history. Trusting the citizens was the mandate and self-attestation is now the new rule. Or consider the move to scrap interviews for non-gazetted Group D, C and B government jobs. In one stroke the entire industry of 'recommendations' has been shut down and pure merit has become the norm.

What are other such outdated and ill-conceived rules, regulations or practices that hinder the normal day to day lived experience of the people? In day-to-day governance issues what are the processes or system that can be simplified or simply done away with? Which are processes that serve the exact opposite purpose they are intended to serve? Rules, regulations and laws that serve no useful social purpose but merely create unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy and therefore need to go?

MyGov invites citizens, members of civil society, journalists, students, teachers, police officers, government employees, Parliamentarians, academics experts, bureaucrats, social media influencers, Think Tanks and all other interested people to give their considered view on the subject.

Improvement in Education System and Hospitals Our education system is highly theoretical and not industry linked .It does not make us fit for entrepreneurship and self employed ,like that of America/Europe. Education with industry collaboration is needed more. Government Hospitals is running on very poor conditions .Good doctors , treatment for chronicle disease is very rare in small places .Private hospitals are charging very high and doing unnecessary tests .Some regulation required here

JOB WORK INDUSTRIES ARE BURDENED SINCE 18% GST IS LEVIED. EARLIER NO TAX WAS APPLICABLE. THIS MUST BE LOOKED INTO AND COULD BE COMPLETELY WAIVED OR 5% COULD BE CHARGED. CUSTOMER IN ANY CASE TAKES INTO CREDIT INPUT. GOVERNMENT DOES NOT LOOSE REVENUE. SERIOUSLY THIS ASPECT MUST BE CONSIDERED.

GST HAS CREATED HAVOC FOR MSME SECTOR. WITH LIMITED RESOURCES, 18% GST TO BE DEPOSITED WITHOUT RECEIVING FROM CUSTOMER.THREE MONTHS CYCLE MAKES IT 54% PAYMENT AS GST. SMALL INDUSTRIES ARE SUFFERING,AND ARE WITH HOLDING DELIVERIES, TO REDUCE THE GST BURDEN. TURN OVER IS GETTING AFFECTED.SOLUTION IS A MUST TO SURVIVE.

It is indisputable that 21st century is of Science and technology. But still, India as an independent country does not have its science channel to show work of various institutes like ISRO, TIFR etc. I appeal to government to start a science channel showing what Indian science institutes are up to. I am only aware of Resonance magazine by Indian Academy of Science for promoting science. I think now when Dr. HC Verma is retired, government can approach to him to give him role of TV host.

Remove law which prohibits application of tint on the cars windows. I have sun allergy such that I cannot stay exposed to the sun for more than 15-20 mins. But still as law abiding citizen I removed my black tint from my car years back. But I haven't seen the law implemented yet. Law creates bifurcation in the society 1) law abiding middle class citizens like me And 2) Rich people (law allows tint on luxury cars), VIP's and people who defy law and roam with tint after so many years of law

Senior citizens interest rate should be increased; annuities from LIC shuold be kept tax free. In fact taxing annuities particularly life time annuities without return of principal to nominee should always be tax free as such annuities hold elemne tof principal also. Atleast a portion of such annuiites should be tax free reprsenting the prinicpal portion,. It is unfair and unjust to tax the return of principal. This will help ease the life of senior citizens.

Sir, there are so many beggars outside temples. I wonder how can a Pujari tolerate hungry humans beings begging for money or something to eat without any self-respect. Is it possible that these people can be employed to clean the premises of temple and in return they will get food (prasaad) and a place to live. I am ashamed of deplorable condition of Panki Temple in my Kanpur city.

Respected PM. AADHAR linking is a right thing but, facing difficulties due to PAN platform data is vary from AADHAR platform. In Trains I have never seen a complaint box and a transparent complaint resolution system. Why should public to pay and use toilets in Railway stations,is it not responsibility of Railway to maintain clean toilets; will SWATCH BHARAT not apply. People of India having many hopes on you, please do not neglect to turn their love into hate. Supporting your decisions....

Respected Modi Sir, I am engineer and management educated from USA .I had great desire in heart to see India developed country by 2025, if not by 2020 .It gives me deep pain and anguish to see engineers unemployed .Long lines and complicated process in Office wasting lot of our time .I have gone almost 10-15 times to several windows ,repetition of same task highly frustrating , killing efficiency .Hope we can simplify process by taking help of software people. Testing process is faulty.
