One of the important endeavors of the present government has been to improve the 'Ease of Living'. In simple words, this means that the citizen-government interface, in matters of daily routine, must be made as seamless as possible and as citizen friendly as possible. Among other things, this has translated into reforming many rules and regulations and in an overwhelming number of cases completely doing away with such antediluvian rules which had not only outlived their utility, but in many cases were frankly anti-people. The mandate has been clear - between the citizens and the governments, the rules and processes must defer to ensuring the ease of living of citizens.

Consider for example the earlier rule of seeking gazetted officers attestation to validate one's documents before appearing in exams. That rule is now history. Trusting the citizens was the mandate and self-attestation is now the new rule. Or consider the move to scrap interviews for non-gazetted Group D, C and B government jobs. In one stroke the entire industry of 'recommendations' has been shut down and pure merit has become the norm.

What are other such outdated and ill-conceived rules, regulations or practices that hinder the normal day to day lived experience of the people? In day-to-day governance issues what are the processes or system that can be simplified or simply done away with? Which are processes that serve the exact opposite purpose they are intended to serve? Rules, regulations and laws that serve no useful social purpose but merely create unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy and therefore need to go?

MyGov invites citizens, members of civil society, journalists, students, teachers, police officers, government employees, Parliamentarians, academics experts, bureaucrats, social media influencers, Think Tanks and all other interested people to give their considered view on the subject.

The root cause of all problems is lack of team work. Modi ji won’t be able to execute without team. Team of Politicians and Indians. Easiest solution is to start hiring 1000 IITians for all towns in India. Have 2000 cr budget for them. Let them start making videos on education in all sections. Send these guys to recruit 10 lac teachers without reservation. Empower every child till 10th with high quality basic education , which can give local jobs. Execute it and see results. Highly effective .

3. TRACKING EMPLOYMENT GENERATION a. Employment bureaus must provide employment status registration based on Aadhaar b. Employers must regularly update Employment bureaus of new employee and employee resignation based on Aadhaar number. This will help policy decisions of government on economy and employment.

Dear Modi Ji, Currently, all political parties are getting into a post-poll alliance changing their ideology and playing with peoples Mandate. To stop this mockery we need to see some simple constitutional changes for elections 1. Post poll alliance is not allowed for 2 years. With this, the parties will not play with people mandate. Even people will be forced to vote for the full majority. this may lead to multiple elections. 2. The life of an alliance should be minimum 2 3 to 4 years

Dear Modi Ji, Today's burning issue is petroleum price and It is getting compare with other neighboring country. every body knows there is a higher tax from Central as well as State government. If you don't revise this people will start thinking you don't want to change and you are pushing the ball to state and state is pushing to central. So I suggest the come up with formula that every liter central govt and BJP ruled state Govt will collect a fixed amount of tax not on the percentage.

In Government Services, CCA is paid to people serving in big cities. It is a compensation for working in big cities.Whereas the people serving in Rural Areas face many hardships and also face economic loss because in most of the cases, they are compelled to make 2 or more family establishments for good education/ medical facilities. I suggest that CCA should be abolished and Rural Area Compensatory Allowance (RACA) should be introduced which will encourage people to serve in Rural Areas.

There has been number of cases in which girls are bought and sold to prostitution. I have an idea to stop it. 1.prostitution should be made legal. 2. Every prostitute should given a proper Id and it should be linked to aadhar card. 3. Government can also impose tax because it is a business.

2. PERMANENT MOBILE NUMBER Mobile number is now linked to 1000's of services - Aadhaar, Bank, UPI. That is the only way to receive OTP and authenticate. A discontinuity in mobile number leads to disruption and loss of working days. Preserving MOBILE NUMBER LINKED TO AADHAAR will help in this situation.
