One of the important endeavors of the present government has been to improve the 'Ease of Living'. In simple words, this means that the citizen-government interface, in matters of daily routine, must be made as seamless as possible and as citizen friendly as possible. Among other things, this has translated into reforming many rules and regulations and in an overwhelming number of cases completely doing away with such antediluvian rules which had not only outlived their utility, but in many cases were frankly anti-people. The mandate has been clear - between the citizens and the governments, the rules and processes must defer to ensuring the ease of living of citizens.

Consider for example the earlier rule of seeking gazetted officers attestation to validate one's documents before appearing in exams. That rule is now history. Trusting the citizens was the mandate and self-attestation is now the new rule. Or consider the move to scrap interviews for non-gazetted Group D, C and B government jobs. In one stroke the entire industry of 'recommendations' has been shut down and pure merit has become the norm.

What are other such outdated and ill-conceived rules, regulations or practices that hinder the normal day to day lived experience of the people? In day-to-day governance issues what are the processes or system that can be simplified or simply done away with? Which are processes that serve the exact opposite purpose they are intended to serve? Rules, regulations and laws that serve no useful social purpose but merely create unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy and therefore need to go?

MyGov invites citizens, members of civil society, journalists, students, teachers, police officers, government employees, Parliamentarians, academics experts, bureaucrats, social media influencers, Think Tanks and all other interested people to give their considered view on the subject.

Because They are Mostly Honesty and Hard Worker and they do this from last 15-20 Years in private sector. Now They have double responsibility, His parents and his children. Due to low salary and high expenses they all are in huge problem. Please Help them.

In order to promote NPS, government should allow merging / transfer of various pension accounts with various mutual funds into NPS free of any tax implication. This will allow exit route to the investors who are stuck with various private funds for small amounts.

The process of creation of PAN card has been considerably simplified. However, the same is not true for surrender of PAN card upon death. Kindly look into it and frame rules so that the same can be done online by uploading the death certificate and the family members are not hassled.

We want each child get job but with knowledge that will be beneficial to society not. So that each child perform best from heart and brain in society. When a child which you think is backward get opportunity in the form of economics which he/she can't afford. She/he will diffinately get knowledge to level of 90% child and there will be no unequality. If you see each child is not getting equal competition. Some are facing to 90to100% and some are 30 40 60 etc. Plz think on this

Congratulations for completion of four years.. please remove castism from forms which we fill..We all are human being. Then why there is need for this. If u want to give opportunity then give some economic relaxation. Not brain relaxation. Provide book or extra classes to those who can't afford to prepare for higher exam. give money to them . Becoz if you take exam one get 60 and another 90. From whom you want to treat yourself. Which one will be a best doctor.

Sir, IAM Sriraaman M from Tamilnadu. Iam doing B.E Chemical Engineering. Instead of implementing coal bed methane extraction project, Bio methane can be generated from Biodegradable waste by using small scale biogas plants in the waste generation area itself

Respected sir.. I don't want to heart or point out any cast or category... I just want to share my view point that the mode of selection for any job speciay in any interview should be totally based on knowledge and potential... For example castism quota should not be there..instead of that income based categories will help our citizens to grow and to be developed... cast based category should be there no more

Respected Prime Minister Sir, Congratulations on completion of 4 years of a Government which I feel has worked with honest intentions. I would like to make the following suggestions: 1. The tax-payers should be given some social incentive, say preference in housing schemes or recognition in government functions so that other citizens are motivated to pay taxes. --- There is not enough space for further suggestions. Regards
