The Internet and social media platforms provide its users an array of opportunities to engage, participate, interact and learn. At the same time, they pose a significant threat to users in terms of privacy, security risks and cyber bullying.

In order to sensitize and create awareness among young internet users on safe and responsible use of internet and available online technologies, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) seek suggestions on a discussion titled “How to keep children safe online?”

The best suggestions will be incorporated in awareness and sensitisation plan to be unveiled/launched as a part of Internet Safety Guidelines for children and Youth.

The last date of submission of your comments is 17th February, 2015.

The computer should be kept in the hall, while children are accessing the computer, the parents should keep a eye on what they are accessing in the computer and also the parents should not give money to the children to go to INTERNET CAFE.

''बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ" How About Maa Bachao????? If mothers cannot be saved, who will care for the daughters??? In India's mostly women dying during childbirth in the world & for every daughter that is killed, there is a mother who is demeaned.

Secularism cannot require protection of Gods against critical comments in books/plays/movies.Government cannot claim to be bigger than any God.People feeling hurt should respond in movies/books/plays.But devotees of a God need to be protected against physical harm by anybody.
