The Internet and social media platforms provide its users an array of opportunities to engage, participate, interact and learn. At the same time, they pose a significant threat to users in terms of privacy, security risks and cyber bullying.

In order to sensitize and create awareness among young internet users on safe and responsible use of internet and available online technologies, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) seek suggestions on a discussion titled “How to keep children safe online?”

The best suggestions will be incorporated in awareness and sensitisation plan to be unveiled/launched as a part of Internet Safety Guidelines for children and Youth.

The last date of submission of your comments is 17th February, 2015.

I suggest you to kindly make it more clear that whelther Indian coast guard comes under defence or it is a paramilitary force. Because there is a huge confusion ,if it comes under defense then facilities like pension and uniform allowance should again be started.and if it is not a defence job then why does Wikipedia say that it is India's 4th defence service. I would like you to make it more transparent. Thankfully, Sandeep giri

Respected sir, I think the basic need for girls /ladies returning home from work or any other thing would be working street lights and patrolling police cars. I think that each police 'thana' should make a team of 4-5 police constables who can patrol in their area with 12hours shift, 2 constables at day and 3 at night and it should be regular and on a serious note. Thank you, Sandeep giri

It's not an easy task to keep children safe as they are getting indulged in big cyber crime.Offensive contents should be banned throughout the country 'coz they are simply vandalising our youth minds and their abilities

It's not an easy task to track children activities because they know more about Internet than their parents. Some recent incidents like AIB roast or offensive content on Internet vandalised our culture and youth ability. They access offensive material by making fake id's etc etc. If YouTube or any other site demand for Adhar card number for accessing the offensive content (18+) then we can easily safe children's below 18 from banes of Internet and avoid misuse of Internet

By keeping track of their online activities by browsing through the history of web browsers.By setting up rules and protocols about which website to visit and which not and informing them about advantages and disadvantages of certain websites and telling them that not everyone on social network could possibly be trusted as well as the information posted on it.If all these does not possibly work we can install secret keyloggers which will keep track of their online activities respectively.

Bjp government took u-turn on issue of public sector banks wage revision also not showing any notice of status of poor bankers who supported them in hope of good-ever wage settlement. If they willn't listen to banker's pain sigh ,more defeat like delhi election will follow.
