I suggest;
1. Transparent actions. ie. access to all the documents and actions through web.
2. Recruit people who wants to offer themselves as volunteer (without expecting any monetary benefits).
3. Law should be strong to punish people who commit mistakes, especially for monetary gain.

To make transparent sport federation every selection procedure should be made fair and clear with sports person.All competition guidelines should be uploaded on internet and shared properly in each corner of country.When India's Got Talent can get talented people in India which is a private show India Sports Federation can also find best sportsperson with transparent policies.

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life.
Respected PM Mr NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI SIR do you have explanation or just a speech.

suggestions--(a)keep all non-players(politicians and bureaucrats) out of management of these bodies, (b) let all these bodies be managed by retired sportspersons, (c) involve local populations in governing these bodies as they are run on taxpayers money, (d) autonomy can be ensured by giving minimum fixed tenure to office bearers and by asking them to become self sustaining. Unfortunately, these suggestions will not be implemented as large number of BJP politicians are involved in these bodies

neither the govt. nor the govt. official should contest in the elections of IOA or its state branches. law should be passed so that no govt. official can put finger in administration of IOA. because of the political interference, our sports person are not able to bring medals for our country and countries like Uganda is performing better than us in Olympics. one example of political interference is having cycle hockey federation... #MinistryofYouthAffairsandSports
