Too many places in the governing boards of institutions are occupied ‘ex-officio’ by non-academics. Putting a member on the governing board is seen as a mechanism of coordination among the various stakeholder groups. This thinking is very flawed. Board members must be chosen carefully so that each one of them brings a specific expertise needed by the institution. The Board must be charged with collectively steering the institution towards excellence.

This may not be possible because majority of Professors employed in the universities hold technical skillset of 1980’s. However, science have revolutionized in the recent 10yrs. This is the reason that current education system is skill-deficient. There is clear and measurable gap in the skill of current time and 1985's. Young graduates are unable to enter Universities since last more than ten years, faculty positions in India lie vacant. All new Cen Unis, IIT’s&IISER’s are feed for Delhi people.

Let us recognize one important fact. India is educated by its teachers and not by classrooms, desks and benches. The teacher has to become the centre of education. The key question is: What are our schemes and plans to develop and improve the quality of teachers? Our aim should be to impart the same quality of education to every child in India & teachers all over must be of the same high quality. The important step required to start off in this direction is a central service for teachers.

While no doubt we have reached a phase where outsourcing is the trend, what makes an autonomous system really work is the policies! To ensure that quality is maintained throughout the grades and throughout the country we need to have a system for monitoring quality. Perhaps also we need to to have one policy document to ensure that minimuim standards or benchmarks are stuck to. I have studied the Common Core State State Standards closely and found it to be a decisive document.

Government should put a proper system to improve the governments school, in terms of infrastructure, quality of education etc.. Due to inability of government schools privates schools are billing like anything. why the government is not involving in state schools improvement program, is that really happening. In my 20 year of journey the government schools remains in the same quality and position and no improvement happen. Basic education system to INDIAN is in poor quality.

EPFO has introduced UAN, But without Online Withdraw system it is not useful. Online transfer of account is there, But withdrawing of money online is more necessary. Mostly Employers denies/delays signing Form-10 by giving foolish reasons to employee. Laws are there but employee can't go for it. It will create more trouble in life instead of relief. Employers are powerful. They know all ifs and buts. Pls start Online Money withdraw from PF account. Lakhs of People are waiting for it......ModiJi
