A Committee on Net Neutrality has submitted its report to the Department of Telecommunications. Its recommendations broadly contain technical, regulatory and public policy related measures required with respect to Net Neutrality issue.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is also currently engaged in consultation process on the issue whose recommendations are awaited.

It is emphasized that the views expressed in the report are that of the Committee and not of the Government. Your valuable comments, wide scale consultations, as also the report of the TRAI will help the Government to take appropriate decision on the issue.

Internet censorship = Porn Ban This government has lost my vote today and forever also I suspect a huge chunk of youth vote. It promised us an economical superpower like America But has decided to give us a dictatorship like Taliban and Saudi Arabia. Is curbing freedom truly the motive of this government?

Sir banning porn is not the right way to do it. We are not taliban, anyone has the right to do anything until its not causing harm. Regulating porn would be a better option to insure that people are not dragged into this, specially children. Please take some steps. Thank you

I appreciate and support ban on porn sites. Nowhere it is curb or stop the freedom expression. we are living in the society not in jungle. we have law that murder is crime and rape is crime same manner Pornography is a crime against women. we should not encourage. but govt should take some more steps:- 1)They can start new porn sites with different names, it should not be allowed 2)In India whatever country you selected, it should not allow

pm modi sir..i ve been a great fan of urs..but i dont support this porn ban..it violates personal liberties..most developed countries are liberal in nature..infact development is quite heavily linked to liberalism and free expression..please reconsider this decision..it is my heart renching request to you to revoke this ban..so many youths had voted for you..if u dont overturn this ban i will be forced to vote against your party in the next elections..please do it sir..its an earnest plea..

sir, Hum apko tab se support krtey aa rhey h jb se apki srkar kendra mein aayi b nhi thi.hm aapke kaam se bht prabhavit h. Par sir aapne jo ye porn sites par ban lgaya h mai iska samarthan bilkul nhi krta. Ye ek galat kadam h.Aajkal k yuvaaon ko sex k baarey mein itni knwldge nhi h.Ye knwledge unhey intrnt sites pr he milti thi.isi se wo apni aagey ki sex lyf k barey mein jaan patey thay . Porn pr ban lgney se rape aur sexual violence mein b badhava hga kyki log jigyasa shant nhi kr pyngey.

We have reached a state where a porn star like Sunny Leon is now a Bollywood celebrity. News papers like Hindu and Eenadu often publish her photograph. IF this is called giving dignity to the women, no comments. The fact remains that the actresses in Bollywood do not want to share any event with Sunny. This precisely says India needs Sabhayatha and Samskaaram and Sanskruti. Porn stuff is unnatural and it must meet with an Unnatural death.

Its good if all the porn website have banned mean, because in our village there is lot of youths are destroying there life by using porns in there mobile using internet, and they are not using it for good things.. These websites are very dangerous to youths.

सरकार का अश्लील साईट पर रोक लगाना एक अच्छा कदम है इसका हम समर्थन करते है , नई पीडी के लिए चरित्र निर्माण के लिए सही शिक्षा जरूरी है , सभी प्रकार की अश्लीलता पर रोक होनी चाहिये !
