It was a very immature decission by the government on banning porn websites. There have always been several ways to access banned content. This ban has only made my nation a subject of laughter to foreign nations. I wish my government is more responsible on acting in complains a few. Abrupt and hasty decisions makes us look desperate for achieving useless things. The ban would have not achieved it's intended purpose at all. Because tech sevy people would always find a way around it.

Immature decision of banning porn.A pathetic attempt to win over someone's freedom, because you already failed in doing so by banning beef.We all know these kinds of acts are not practically possible to ban.So, why to take all the hate of being narrow minded, just go with the flow.

the actors and all the person that are supporting may be right but these person are mere a fraction of Indian population they are safe and do not have to face a common mans life. I don't know why our actors and film stars are supporting it this stupidity. I was very Happy when i came to know that our govt has banned porn websites, but it is unfortunate that the gov. has lifted ban, its very disappointing act of our gov.... these websites are destroying future of our country's youth, for example a student of class 4 wants to prepare some project he searches for some topic in the mean while searches show some study material and can show explicit adult contents also and he just clicks on one of that links and then this can continue. please ban porn

First ban beef (in Maharashtra) & now porn..not a good move (remember Indians came up with Kamasutra). I don't understand the "why" behind it. Why was it done so covertly? Why was the country not informed of such a step beforehand?
By forcing a ban, the govt is increasing the risks of rapes & of building a blackmarket of pornographic content. This will serve no good.
I hope the ancient sculptures in the country won't be banned because some of them contain "sexually explicit" content.

The Govt does not have the right to moral police me or tell me what I can or cannot do unless my actions are hurting others. The child pornography is an excuse to force your set of rules on us. Banning porn is not the solution to fight child pornography nor will it help reduce rapes. Banning porn will in fact increase crimes. What is one supposed to do if he has a sexual urge (which is a natural human phenomenon)? Before taking actions please take the effort to read scientific evidence
