I remember moral messages given by short stories I had heard 60 years ago. Now TV is a powerful tool to tell children stories in cartoon form about Birbal, Tenali rama, Sant Kabir, as also show linkages to religious tolerance- currently distorted by media. Bhagvat Gita never talked of Caste, now Ambedkar is converted to God for vote bank and political agenda only. Based on SC Bose files can we have a documentary now?

DD took initiative to around 1986 or so when other channels were not there - to make Mahabharat and Ramayan. We have plenty of serials nowadays. on EPIC Channel- I see stories of Rabindranath Tagore. Why not have short serials on all heritage / historic events- stories on Halebeed, Belur in Karnataka, Nalanda, Buddha (how it is part of 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu). Chinese do not believe in these reincarnations!!! So Tibetan history can also be covered.

SPECIAL CLASSES IN SCHOOL MUST BE KEPT ONLY ON INDIAN CULTURE AND HERITAGE FROM PRIMARY CLASSES, SOME CULTURAL PROGRAMS ,DRAMAS SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED BY ALL TEACHES IN SCHOOLS.PRINT AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA SHOULD ALSO GIVE ATLEAST A PAGE INFORMATION ,ONE HOUR PROGRAM IN A WEEK ABOUT OUR INDIAN HERITAGE AND CULTURE RESPECTIVELY.PARENTS SHOULD ALSO ENCOURAGE THEM BY WEARING THOSE TYPE OF DRESSES.

Moral science should compulsorily be taught in all schools, right from the primary classes. Also make sure history includes our tradition and not the manipulated history that has been going on for all these years. Encourage the younger generation to wear the age-old traditional dresses, instead of the outlandish ones shown on most TV channels.

Vedic teachings about sages, personalities and their discoveries needs to come in light instead of current corrupt educational curriculum influenced by Saudi's and British in an attempt to destroy our heritage and culture. Vedas and Sanskrit needs to be very much integrated into into early child education through college. Media, Advertisements are superficial means and are not a long term solutions.

Alike teh mandate of teh National Anthem before a movie, we should encourage teh media to show the beauty of our country and what to see in our country, we can have a prime time for all channels showing that and also if possible translations in teh languages of the countries from where we have most of our visitors.

I cannot see poems of famous Rastra Kavi Maithli Sharan Gupt (मैथली शरण गुप्त) like प्लासी का योद्धा on Hindi Sansthan website. Such epics must be published online and easily accessible.

Staying in Munich, Germany I can watch three free Chinese channels directly available by Free2Air satellite, and spreading propaganda regarding tourism, business and culture in China. I can imagine same can easily be done for DD promoting Indian Culture and Heritage. Even though it is advertised that DD is available in Europe, so as in Germany, I could not find signals for DD despite a lot of effort.

Well, taking the learning from CJ (Citizen Journalist) concept where the Individuals send in the self recorded news. The cultural channel (free to air) could show those clippings of about places of cultural values (hertitage). More locals will involve to promote their places and India as a whole promoted automaticaly. Well sounds simple but if the mass level execution/ implementation is not complex then I see a benefit....Its an open idea, it invites more thoughts
