Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

I am geeta Porwal Headmaster of shree M.S JAIN School (primary) Jalna 1.First of all all the school timings must be same that is goverment and private schools. 2. School must be Full time no shifting because no sufficient time to involve students in teaching activities. 3.In one room only one class should be taught whole day to stop shifting. 4. no. of students in a class must be limited. 5. teaching kits must provided by govt.to all schools as per requirement.

There is problem of student is their own language their parents are uneducated not interested in education pre primary must be linked with running education must be all varieties teaching aids

स्थानिक वातावरणानुसार अभ्यासक्रमाची रचना हवी. कृतियुक्त शिक्षण असावे.वाचन,लेखन,गणन सहज अवगत होण्यासाठी वर्गवार पुरेशा शेक्षणिक साहित्य उपलब्धता असावी .अभ्यासक्रमात नेमकेपणा हवा.

As a head master I used to appriciate the work of my teachers .They try best for the improvement in reading, writing and numeracy of the student. 1. To achieve required standards in 9-12 classes there is a great need to change TPR. 2. It is necessary to bring relevance between the syllabus and methodology. We have to evaluate this process for better outcome. 3. Required learning outcomes are achieved up to 70% at present and to improve the standards of the children more focus is required at they UP level. 4.
