Several studies have shown that school children do not seem to acquire age appropriate skills in reading, writing and numeracy. There is a need to explore the various approaches to improve teaching–learning at the elementary stage. The objective of this theme is to understand the issues of low learning achievement levels in elementary schooling, assess the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation and suggest ways and methods of improving the learning outcomes of school children which would result in enhancing the quality of elementary education.

1) The children at primary level or unable to reach the levels of learning at present due to various reasons.They are 1)Levels of thinking 2)Family background 3)Involvement in the learning process 4)Attendance 5)Parental support to their childrens education 6)Lack of pre primary background 7)grading and evaluation. The supervision,administrative aspects, new sylabuss,community support learning atmospear & illiteracy or other reasons.

enhance learning outcomes needs to improve minimum facilities like Libraries, laboratory kits, projectors and computers. 2. Early child education centers (like anganwadis and ECECs)must be assigned to primary schools to get excellent learning outcomes in primary education and appoint the pre primary well trained women teachers on regular basis. 3. Eradicate the single teacher and double teacher schools in the country and try to go for alternate accessibility methods like school bus facility ….

Education Policy at Village Level. MPPS CHEEDIKADA ,CHEEDIKADA MANDAL , VISAKHAPATNAM DIST To develop pre-primary education open LKG,UKG sections in the nearby primary schools and provide powers to supervise the schools to the Headmaster of the primary school. From class 1to 5th teach English is one of the subjects remaining all subjects in their mother tongue.Cheedikada

Creative learning ,activity based education illustrative methods ,integrated approach methods are useful in the primary education to promote cognitive development of the child .so we have to prepare curriculum according to the above methods and approaches. 2.
