#CleanGanga : Slaughter houses are the biggest threats to water streams. Permission should not be permitted to those slaughter houses without having proper facilities for waste disposal. Water syringe technology should be made mandatory for every home to enrich ground water.

#CleanGanga : Dear PM, why Ganga alone? Every river or a small stream in India is no less than Ganga. We must treat every river of same status. We must find out every possible reason for water pollution with the help of crowd intelligence. We must punish anyone who tarnish a water source and strict laws should be made against those who pollute water. This information collection can be done with the help of newly formed crowd sourcing portal of police network.

I am from varanasi so i will talk about varanasi we can use electric steamers for boating and ban the diesel ones this will help in reducing air polloution around the river.For tourist attraction we can use sailing boat rides and this will be like reliving the old traditional boating. "boating through the help of winds."

we not only have to clean the holy river ganga but all the rivers as they are also an essential part of this country. to clean these rivers, govt has to implent the strict laws made by our respected judiciary system.govt should aldo keep large dustbins after every few metres near the river so that tourist dont throw the dirt in the river. industries should also be penalized for dumping untreated water in the rivers. gavt has to implement these things as soon as possible because time is runnin.

Posters of a poluted ganga can be put around the banks under the heading "this would be our ganga if you put that trash in it" both in English and Hindi (other languages if required) and big dustbins should be kept around which a emptied 2-3 times a day each. This would make people realize the picture of ganga with dirt and people will reduce, and then end throwing wastes in it #cleanganga

Only very strict laws and stricter enforcement can clean the holy river. Any industry found not treating the water/ waste properly, before dumping into the river, must pay heavy penalties or face closure or both. Waste from the residential areas must be treated by plants run and owned by the government and located at a place near to the river, before discarding the waste into the river. Live monitoring of water quality, at every kilometer or so of the river, must be made mandatory.JAI MAA GANGE.

The people residing near the ganga or any other river and the concerned authority must learn the process for keep the river clean and alive as the people of the london did for saving the Thmes river.

The water which flows from the either side of Holy Ganga River i.e, either from the Industry or waste of the Industries, should be avoided. Installed the water treatment plant at a regular interval so that the waste of Industries/ Houses first go to the treatment plant and then to Holy River. If necessary use the same water as drinking water also. also avoid use of any sort of detergent and other chemical subtances at the place of bath.

Things could be implemented 1. To ban usage of Soaps or Detergents in bathing ghats. 2. To have ample number of Toilets and shower rooms in Ghats. Pilgrims must be encouraged by signage to shower before bathing in Ganga. 3. All along Ganga banks sewage inflow into to be banned. But every 10 kms on either side of bank should have Effluent treatment plant to be installed with village participation. 4. Field staff to be appointed to Patrol daily for 30 kms to check violations.
