Employability of our students is a matter of concern. At the other end of the spectrum is need for greater investment in research. Industry academia linkages are essential to meet both these ends. While we have various efforts in this direction, these have not fructified as expected. We need to find out how and what is needed for a more fruitful partnering.

Every engineering student should be made to industrial engineering training for a year. During the remaining 3 years mandatory industrial visits should be there. Students should be encouraged to do research work 1st year onward. Lack of teachers for the time being can be augmented with nptel videos.

Hi, I am a software Enginneer, just wanted to give my suggestion on the recruitment of management or senior positions on GOVT sector. It would be good to hire Experienced people from private sector to the Govt sector. As of now there is no provision(or very few ) of such recruitment. As we are seeing there is just a fresher level entries in govt sectors because of that our govt/psu's organisations are not able to compete with cutting edge technology private sectors.

I am a Chartered Accountant and I am interested in teaching profession, however for that I need to complete M Com first. This has to change. For teaching Mcom, CAs are required but for teaching at college for availing Govt pay scale, Mcom degree is mandatory. Dear Modi Sir, we need to change this rule for effecting good commerce graduates. Thanks

congratulations to TEAM ISRO a part of TEAM INDIA for successful launch of SLV 6. To expand team isro ( to attract more students towardsv science and technology. govt of India (ISRO and all other similar organisations too) should circulate CDs /DVDs in all schools to be shown to students . This will create interest among the students towards science and technology.

Modi sir, Indian education system has become obsolete and it need some quick reforms.Being an engineering student, i can say that the education imparted to us is not at all at par with the work an engineer is expected to do in industry. This leads to increase in no of unemployment. Indian programmers are being fired by MNCs on a daily basis. Also there is a huge difference between the packages an engg.is offered through different universities. This creates distrust among students towards science
