The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the selection of the Area Based Development and Pan City with the overall draft Smart City Proposal so that it will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your participation is important for us!

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

For a better understanding, a draft Smart City Proposal is attached which explains the Area Based Development and Pan City initiatives, which has been shared at the link given below.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – “a Credible Smart City”.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 28th February, 2017.

The wires of light should be underground as well as there should be escalators and the traffic problems should also change by making two lanes.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tourist attraction required by innovative developments,Zero Pollution(grass in road side) trees garden in few kms. underground electricity,cool street lights.Drains covered with steel caps.Street & station.................

plan a well developed sewerage system for the town as well as a wwater supply.Also renweable sources of energy like solar and wind energy here are ample.Its time they should be utilized to the max.

Under smart city, there should be provision for setting up of old age home. This is one area which has been unattended to and given little emphasis in framing policy for years together. This is going present Pasighat as a model of an inclusive city

sustainable development plan to not compromise on the needs of the future generation and develop a futuristic plan in such a way that decades from now,it doesnt hamper the new plans that they would make.A master plan in such a way that it incorporates all spheres of different sections of the society and talks of equity and resource availability for all!
