Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) is glad to inform its citizens that Mangalore has been shortlisted among 100 cities which are ought to be developed as Smart Cities in concurrence to the Smart City Mission Guidelines of MoUD, GOI. Based on the responses received from citizens during Round one and two alongside considering the scheme guidelines, the Corporation has proposed two pan-city proposals, highlighted as below;

1. “One Touch Mangaluru”
2. Smart Utility Management System for water, waste management and electricity

More details of the project are available in the MCC website.

All citizens of Mangaluru are requested to go through the project details and submit their views w.r.t the proposals through www.mygov.in

Last date for submission is 11th December 2015.

We request you to kindly make your voices count in the due process.

DEVELOPING MANGALORE INTO A SMART CITY IS WELCOMED BY EVERYBODY CONNECTED TO MANGALORE- RESIDENT OR OTHERWISE. THE PROPOSAL HAS BEEN WELL THOUGHT AND VERY MUCH REQUIRED BY ALL THE PEOPLE LIVING HERE. THOUGH THINGS ARE NOT SO EASY AS PUTING A COMMENT , PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING BEHIND REALISATION OF THIS DREAM ARE TO BE APPRECIATED FOR THEIR EFFORTS. NONETHELESS WE NEED MORE TRANSPARENCY ONCE THE PROPOSAL GETS ACCEPTED AND FUNDS POUR IN. THE MONEY SHOULD BE UTILISED FOR THE SAID PURPOSE ONLY.

i appriciate that aspects which are taken by mcc is really helpful for every citizen .MCC officials doing thier job as good as with responsibility

we can accommodate the government employees into the same building in which they work during office timings.This will automatically reduce the use of cars and other transport means. By merging the office and accommodation at the same place will help us to reduce the cost of energy and time hence pollution

Smart Parking to be use for key junction of the city. and should be strictly implemented.. Environment of the city should be at priority. Mobile app to be introduced in city..
