Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the “Smart City” Challenge Stage-2 by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India.

my view our dream Smart city should possess following attributes: 1.most importantly public partcipation 2.Clean city 3.Industry growth creating employment opportunities

n Garden/parks Great Indian ancient culture should be depicted ... In my view our dream Smart city should possess following attributes: 1)Awareness & belongingness about smart city concept among Hubli-Dharwad citizens 2)Proper town planning keeping next 20 years in mind 3)Good 24x7 drinking water supply 4)Proper waste segregation at source & management 5)Clean & dust free roads & 6)most importantly public partcipation
