Nestled on the banks of river Dudhimati, approximately 200 km away from Ahmedabad and 150 km away from Vadodara, is the vibrant Dahod city in Dahod District in the State of Gujarat, India.

In the Round-1 of the Smart City Challenge, citizens of Dahod envisioned a multi-functional economic hub for Tribal Region with high quality infrastructure facilities. Dahod has now been given the opportunity to submit its updated proposal for Smart City under Round-2 of the Smart City Challenge. Dahod Nagar Palika invites you, the citizens of Dahod, to share your ideas, suggestions and comments for making Dahod future-ready.

use of internet will be very valuable if government offices are digitalize. Citizen will get document directly online without any que and bribes which will be more transparent as for eg: Birth and Death Certificate, marriage Certificate, city survey department , revenue department , billing and collection of house tax etc which will led to easy and handy process

there should be an alternatives to sort out traffic problems in dahod cities and children with age less than 18 years should not be allow to drive mopads n bikes. Government should provide awareness of using more bicycles rather than mopad which will be very helpfull to sort out traffic problem, noise pollution and air pollution

Government should work on growing more trees in dahod city as well as in surrounding area of Dahod city, well equiped Amusement Park for children , well landscaped garden with facilities of pedestial path and bicycle path for senior citizen and general public

Recycle of waste water should be done so that scarcity of water can be nullified and waste water should not be allow to drain in Dhudhimati river and chabb talav without treatment so that natural resources of water don't get polluted further

FSI of city should increased and facility of purchasing FSI should be provided for the vertical development of dahod city and for horizontal development of dahod NA process and revenue process should be done quick and easy on Agricultural Land
