LPG is a dominant cooking fuel of urban population and also, steadily penetrating in rural areas replacing other traditional sources of fuel which included fire wood, cow dung, coal, etc.

There are nearly 17 crore LPG consumers in the country with average refill of 35 lakh cylinders per day. The reach of LPG connections as well as providing timely services to the consumers has always kept in pace with the technological innovations. Provision of timely services and attending the grievances of the consumers continues to be critical for consumers’ satisfaction.

Available Web as well as Mobile phone based applications are extensively used to enable the new customers to get LPG connections and the existing customers to avail services. The Ministry has been taking all measures to leverage the Digital India initiative to make it more consumers friendly.
Presently, following citizen friendly services are being offered for the prospective and existing LPG consumers.

•Book Cylinder through IVRS -– allows consumer to book refill through their registered mobile number.
•Track Refill – It’s both Web and App based facility which shows consumer last 3 booking & delivery date
•Know Your Distributor –Web based facility provides distributor name, address, contact no , Sales officers name & email id
•Talk to Us – connects to call centre managed round the clock.
•Request for 2nd cylinder – allows consumer with single cylinder connection to request for additional cylinder.
•Mechanic Service – allows consumer to register request for mechanic service.
•Surrender connection – allows consumer to register request for surrendering connection.
•Rate your distributor – allows consumer to rate distributor on 5 service parameters, which enables the consumer to ascertain the quality of services provided by the distributor.
•Bank Detail – allows consumer to update Bank details for becoming Cash Transfer Complaint to avail the subsidy under ‘PaHal’ scheme.
•Opt out of Subsidy – provides option to ‘GiveItUp’ of LPG subsidy.
•Feedback Status – allows consumer to check status of any feedback submitted earlier

Ministry further wants to bring new innovations/improvement in services provided with an aim to enhance ‘quality’ of the services provided and transparency in transactions. Therefore, suggestions/creative inputs are solicited from the all the stakeholders on improving the services using communication platforms.

one time payment once in year of 12 cylinders. because of this lit of curruption is reduced for extra cylinder we can pay after delivery of cylinder in office or online. also there is misscall system by which we can book cylinder.

We see there lot of temporing happening in filled gas cylinder. We should implement gas pressuriser on rop of cylinder to confirm cylinder is not tempored/reduced gas. In future if we get pipeline connection for cylinder fill on area wise will be good

1. invest and promote gas pipeline connection which will  reduce cost to the consumer as well middle men issues and corruption and lots of transport issues will be solved . 2. currently we can't find is it really full cylinder or used a bit. there should be transparent view available on cylinder so that can see before taking the cylinder. 3. auto debit option or online payment option or credit or debit accepting option to be provided as payment option

There should be some demo videos for some basic things such as "what to do when leakage occurs, how to install an LPG cylinder with your system, how to check leakage when cylinder is delivered to your home, what is the process to link your AADHAR number with your bank account, how to GIVE UP your LPG subsidy". There can be many more. #MyGov #GiveItUp

सर जी आपके गैस का मुल्‍य है 770 लेकिन आपके डिलर के द्वारा सभी ग्राहक बधुओ से 800 रूपये ली जा रही है और यही नही जब गैस के दाम बढते है तो उनका उस दाम से 30 यो 50 रूपये लिये जाते है ये मामला बिे‍हार चम्‍पारण के धरती नरकटियागंज जो ऐजेसी है उसका नाम है रामाकांत गैस इण्‍डेन ऐसी शिकायत कई बार की गई है लेकिन कोई नही सुनता है और हमारे प्रधानमंत्री जी बोलते है कि भष्‍टचार कम हो रहा है इन लोगो पे कौन लगाम लगाएगा जरा जनता के बारे में सोचिय और इसपे विशेष ध्‍यान दिया जाए ताकि जनता खुश रह सके

1)Preferred delivery to be promoted and cost should be reduced for many to accept it. 2) Bill Should have detailed summary - including the rate/charges/commission amount which is already inclusive. This should help to avoid being fleeced by Delivery boys. 3) Confidential reporting mechanism should be developed as people fear retaliation by Delivery boys. 4) Action should be taken against the agencies having more complaints. 5) Promote piped gas connection at least on metros.

still there are lots of corruption by gas distributors.the behavior of delivery boys is very bad,asking for money.they are not weighing the cylinder during delivery but misbehaving.LINGRAJ gas agency KHANDAGIRI,BHUBANESWAR is doing lots of corrupt practice.

Need to be more effective coverage of distribution in rural area as in my area i am getting my refill cylinder from my own sources The distributor is not distributing culinder into my door Kindly do something for this
