LPG is a dominant cooking fuel of urban population and also, steadily penetrating in rural areas replacing other traditional sources of fuel which included fire wood, cow dung, coal, etc.

There are nearly 17 crore LPG consumers in the country with average refill of 35 lakh cylinders per day. The reach of LPG connections as well as providing timely services to the consumers has always kept in pace with the technological innovations. Provision of timely services and attending the grievances of the consumers continues to be critical for consumers’ satisfaction.

Available Web as well as Mobile phone based applications are extensively used to enable the new customers to get LPG connections and the existing customers to avail services. The Ministry has been taking all measures to leverage the Digital India initiative to make it more consumers friendly.
Presently, following citizen friendly services are being offered for the prospective and existing LPG consumers.

•Book Cylinder through IVRS -– allows consumer to book refill through their registered mobile number.
•Track Refill – It’s both Web and App based facility which shows consumer last 3 booking & delivery date
•Know Your Distributor –Web based facility provides distributor name, address, contact no , Sales officers name & email id
•Talk to Us – connects to call centre managed round the clock.
•Request for 2nd cylinder – allows consumer with single cylinder connection to request for additional cylinder.
•Mechanic Service – allows consumer to register request for mechanic service.
•Surrender connection – allows consumer to register request for surrendering connection.
•Rate your distributor – allows consumer to rate distributor on 5 service parameters, which enables the consumer to ascertain the quality of services provided by the distributor.
•Bank Detail – allows consumer to update Bank details for becoming Cash Transfer Complaint to avail the subsidy under ‘PaHal’ scheme.
•Opt out of Subsidy – provides option to ‘GiveItUp’ of LPG subsidy.
•Feedback Status – allows consumer to check status of any feedback submitted earlier

Ministry further wants to bring new innovations/improvement in services provided with an aim to enhance ‘quality’ of the services provided and transparency in transactions. Therefore, suggestions/creative inputs are solicited from the all the stakeholders on improving the services using communication platforms.

Dear government U showed so many videos a missed call is enough to give subsidy can't this be used in delivering a cyclinder we have to wait for ten long days to get our cyclinder can't u use same missed call to give status of cyclinder so that even if there is genuine delay customers can know it actually what's the reason for delay

light train ,tram services.as dedicated rout articulated for BRT then why not tram service. in europe many cities have trams succesfully running.the average speed may be 25 to 30 km /hour.for 15, 20 km distance it is ideal .in peak hour avarage speed of car is just 14,15 km/h.will save fuel resulting in reduction in pollution.compare with metro cost is very low and operating cost is also very low.at some routs tram may be logical solution.

in austrelia america road trains are used.2 to 5 trailors are attached.for public transport 2 to 3 trailors with 25 to 35 meter length are used as per width of road 'can handell heavy passenger rush.for goods 3 to 6/7 trailors with length from50 to 120 meter with load range from 80 to 200tonns there are few with more capacity.steel coal cement minerals industries will be benifitted. overall low fuel used and other cost also come downdue to vollume handeling total transportation cost comes down

On new year day 2016, a LPG delivery person arrived at my doorstep(I had no order). He said he was sent by the gas agency to collect photocopy of my Aadhaar. I asked why? And he did not know the answer. I refused to give him anything as first, Aadhaar is just a number and is not mandatory for receiving any government service and second, any misuse can happen with a photocopy till it reaches the gas agency office. Third, there are better ways available to link anything. Digital India must succeed

now those persons who doesnot take subsidy on LPG, govt should issue a thank-u or appritiation cirtificate for them with the signeature of petrolium minister and prime minister for their sacrifice to poors of this nation. ' thanku'

sir, please start issuing 5kg domestic cylinders to villagers, slums and bpl card holders. give subsidy only on these 5 kg cylinders as they are issued to the most needy people. withdraw /reduce subsidy from the 14.2 kg category.

Only in 10 year Dubai king has changed dubai image in the world. In 70 years because of old and corrupt minister we cant change India image in the world. I think british are better than us in development. So many people are died for freedom and what we got is this than why those people are died

एलपीजी सुविधा को आसान बनाने के लिए १ गैस खरीदने/न्यू कनेक्शन/सेकंड सिलिंडर के लिए ऑनलाइन / नेट बैंकिंग पैसा ट्रान्सफर करने की सुविधा होना चाहिए इससे करप्शन भी रुकेगा २ प्रीपेड सुविधा ऑनलाइन होना चाहिए की जिसमे डेलिवरी की डेट पहले से पता हो व ग्राहक चाहे तो तीन माह से लेकर एक वर्ष तक की राशी एडवांस जमा करा सके ३ समय पर डेलिवरी न देने पर कुछ आर्थिक दंड की व्यवस्था डीलर के लिए होना चाहिए
