He has left the legacy of teachings of morality, self-sufficiency, forgiveness, non-violence and satyagraha, etc behind him. Now, as the world is rapidly developing and growing in different dimensions , there are some areas which needs to be concerned for sustainable and inclusive development .

With these pedagogies in understanding, Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti invites you here at this digital platform for an open and free flowing discussion where you can share and discuss your valuable ideas.
These ideas can be further utilized by Samiti in conducting different programmes dedicated to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi.

Best way is to relinquish plastic which looked best inventions ever human produced so far , is now killing us n cancerous in nature to not only to humans but to all organisms . This will be right way to celebrate 150th of anniversary of Mahatma Gandhiji who has selflessly, did every thing best possible to provide us freedom .

Mahatma Gandhi, the person whom we see as the Father of our nation is just not related to India but is a much greater personality in present day world. He is the symbol of non violence. According to the recent news, a statue of Mahatma Gandhi was inaugurated in Manchester, U.K. to propagate Non violence to commemorate the terrorist attack on Manchester. This shows that he is not only a major figure in India but also in many countries like South Africa, U.K., and the world.

7) Superstition: We may believe in God. But belief shall not make us superstitious 8) Social and Gender Inequality: In today's time when we hear of discrimination due to caste, creed, religion, language or gender, we feel depressed 9) Hunger: In a country where several million tons of food is getting wasted, when news of some people dying of hunger comes. 2) Black Money: It deprives nation of what it deserves. People may be rich and have enough, but government is short of resources to uplift condition of public utilities and of those who do not have any thing. Government is taking several steps to detect and stop generation of black money. Promoting use of digital transactions will help in this endeavor. 3) Corruption: It is one of the biggest hindrance in nation building. Whatever government does is nullified and fails to benefit nation

Our behavior is reflects the character of nation as a whole. Let us remove 10 present day evils from our society to make India of Gandhi ji’s wishes: 1) Dirt around us: To make a clean and green India. Swacch Bharat is now close to reality and is not merely a dream. A lot of awareness is generated about cleanliness but we have still to go far. People have to learn to stop spitting, urinating, throwing garbage at public places
