Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

Digital india : Good step : But now a days in news that some group of person going into govt departments at night and sharing / using that information. My request to Govt Please make digital access system to all the respective department so that if any person access or try to access he can catch urgently and put some digital noting system any person of more than some level can see that after he left office who came in this room. sir information is very most important now it is very common that lower level employee of govt for the money sake can be used easily by these people. so please make some digital entry system of entry in all the departments suppose their are 50 departments one control departments and every body thumb impression if some person going into any place at night their movement should come automatically into the system . Second some govt. employee intentionally passing some information to these people than it will easy to trace whose did this. DIGITAL INDIA EVERY PERSON WHO TAKE BIRTH IN INDIA AFTER REPORTING TO GOVT AGENCIES GOVT AGENCIES AFTER 30 OR SIXTY DAYS VISIT TO HIS/ HER HOUSE AND ADD THEIR NAME IN RATION CARD, ADHAR CARD AND AFTER GETTING 18 YEARS HE/ SHE AUTOMATICALLY ADDED IN TO VOTER LIST AND OTHER LIST AND GOVT SHOULD TRACE ALL THE INFORMATION UNTILL THE PERSON DIES. IF WE CAN DO THIS THAN IT DIGITAL INDIA WILL BE BENEFITED TO ALL OF US.

My concern is towards health of rural and poor people medical facility . i think govt should provide poor people insurances cover on their treatments bill upto 500000 rs . by that they need starch their hand to every one to beg when they are in trouble like kidney transplant or any major heart treatments. govt should give health insurance card to poor people and should uptodate govt hospital equipments , medicines and treatments .And also should improve the services of govt hospitals
