Digital Locker is one of the key initiatives under the Digital India Programme. A beta version (http://digitallocker.gov.in) of the same has been released on 10th Feb. 2015, by Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Govt. of India.

Digital Locker is aimed at minimizing the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online. Residents can also upload their own electronic documents and digitally sign them using the e-sign facility. These digitally signed documents can be shared with Government organizations or other entities.

Key features of the Digital Locker System are:

• 10 MB of free space in digital locker to residents to access their documents through Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) and also securely store e-documents.
• e-sign online service to digitally sign documents

Residents are invited to use the Beta version of the Digital Locker System and provide suggestions and feedback on the same. Suggestions are also invited on the use cases for services which can be additionally provided by the Digital Locker System.

Dear Sir, You are coming to Germany on April 14th. I am delighted to see you here. Here, every European person is allowed to work full time during their studies. But this is not the case for people who come from Non-EU countries. I request you to look into this matter so that even an Indian is allowed to work full time during their studies. As study duration is flexible n this will help a lot of students living in Germany.

A digital population of 500 million could transform India's economy, business landscape, governance and society beyond recognition. Internet growth will also lead to massive job creation. Connectivity will impact businesses and improve socioeconomic indicators. This platform has ensured public participation in decision-making and ideation of various national flagship programmes like Swachh Bharat Mission, Namami Gange, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana and NITI Aayog..

I visualize an India where everybody who pays tax feels proud and privileged about it. Currently everytax payer only considers it as his/her burden to pay tax. Why cant there be policies which will make citizens feel more and more privileged as we go up in the tax bracket. Why cant there be certain privileges which are available only to those tax payers in the top most bracket?

Open Standards / Specifications (Software Defined Network - SDN, OpenFlow-Protocol, OpenDayLight-OpenSourceSoftware-Project) based Network-Communication devices like Network Switches, Routers should be manufactured in India under "Make in India" Scheme and procured (instead of proprietary vendor-devices) for all programs under Digital India.

#SaansadAdarshGramYojana, Dear Prime Minister sir, I am working with grampanchayats in improving administration and work culture in the basic unit of rural development of India, and fill happy to upgrade existing traditional system of working of grampanchayats to the international level of ISO standards. Today these grampanchayat are working India's most efficient grampanchayat in Maharashtra. The working model is very useful in case you have to make Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana successful.
