Today we need pollution free environment, safe drinking water, open areas for children and elders, at-least 50% green area, safe roads for pedestrians and cyclists, good schools for all, organic vegetable and fruits, least noise pollution.We want WI-FI cities and health friendly cities.Ring road should be connected to NH4, this is only on the paper from last few years, urban areas like Hindalga, kangrali, Yellur etc lacking from all other services, should be a part of smart city belgaum.

Some of the features that a smart city should include are as below:
1. A smart city should not only have wider roads but a robust/timely/affordable public transport system which helps in replacing private vehicles with efficient public transport.
Eg:- I have worked in both cities of Pune and Mumbai.The city of Pune has very Pathetic public transport service hence people rely heavily on own/private vehicles causing heavy traffic jams in the city, whereas the city of Mumbai has a comparatively b

1.Infrastructure development should be the priority with retaining the greenary of the city
2.cleanliness
3.transportation
4.More number of educational institutions

ಸಿ.ಡಿ.ಪಿ. ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಗರದ ಎಲ್ಲ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗಲೀಕರಣಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು. ಹಾಗೂ 45" ಇದ್ದ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಬದಿಗೆ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಚರಂಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪುಟಪಾತ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಡುವಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಾಹನ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಪುಟಪಾತ್ ಅತೀಕ್ರಮಣ ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಚಾರಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೊಳಿಸುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳನ್ನು "ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ" ಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೂ ಬಸ್ ಓಡಾಟವನ್ನು ಸುಲಭಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು.

ಸೌರ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆ ದೀಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೌರ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೌರ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳವುದು.

ನಗರವನ್ನು ಬರೀ "ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ" ಮಾಡದೇ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತು ಕೊಡುವಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಐ.ಟಿ. ಬಿ.ಟಿ. ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗ ನಿರ್ವಾಹಣೆಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಗಧಿಪಡಿಸಿ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಡ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ಸುಂರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸುವುದು.
