The Prime Minister shared a visionary approach to transform the development journey of our villages in the form of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. The initiative calls upon MPs to select a village in their constituency and make it a Model Village by 2016. Furthermore, the number of model villages should increase as time progresses so that in a decade a large number of villages become Model Villages across India.

The rationale behind a landmark idea such as this is clear- India lives in the villages and India will only progress when our villages progress. Development of villages can happen best when everybody walks shoulder to shoulder and contributes towards the comprehensive development of the village. And who better than the local Members of Parliament to drive this change!

This specially created forum on MyGov invites out of the box ideas on how the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana can become the driving force in bringing a qualitative difference in our villages. Lets make the development of our villages a grand mass movement and together create a golden future for rural India.

why can't we opt for USA type policy on CUBA for PAK??Cancel all diplomatic relations until situation is normalized. We have 5 rivers flowing towards PAK.Can tighten the screws without a single bullet. Our silence n their guaranteed perception that we can't do is their strength.

Pathankot air force station attack, ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE Total six PBOR( personnel below officer ranks) ie one corporal and 5 DSC had jawans ( one of then is a common wealth medalist) are martyred and another 9 PBORs are seriously injured. Their supreme sacrifice to the nation helped in controlling the situation and prevented any damage to the valuable assets like fighter aircrafts and helicopters of Indian air force Now the question arises where were the air force officers????? None of them got a scratch on their body,, they are supposed to lead the men under them from the front but none of them where seen in action any where,, air force officers usually put up a great show when exercises are held inside the comfort of the station but all ran away when they met with an actual situation,,, these are the people who harass the airmen for leave and every other single needs of the people who got martyred,, they are the people who still carry forward the legacy of the British rule ie. Airmen are slaves and we are kings Surprisingly and sadly enough, the people who got killed in action gets only 5000 rupees as military service pay while an air force officer who sits in the comfort of his air conditioned room gets 15000 rupees per month,, these disparities are to be resolved,, the people who are ready to sacrifice their life for the country unflinchingly should get their due and value,, Britishers left India in 1947, it's now high time to kick out that mentality from our armed forces too.

Sir this huge difference between jawans n officers pay is discrimination and abuse to those who died on borders.MSP should be same if your government believes that value of life is equal...
