MyGov brings to you some noteworthy ideas suggested by citizens over the last few months to "Indian Railways" group and which are also reflected in key commitments presented in the Railway Budget of 2015 presented on 26th February 2015 by Minister of Railways, Shri Suresh Prabhu.

The First Round Table on Internet Safety was held at the Department of Electronics and Information and Technology. The event was hosted by MyGov in collaboration with Google and Cert-In. Additional Secretary, DeitY, Shri Tapan Ray chaired the round table, which was attended by Joint Secretary, DeitY, Dr. Rajendra Kumar, CEO MyGov, Shri Gaurav Dwivedi, Representatives from Google India, NCERT, CBSE, Cert-In, the New Media Wing of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

To commemorate the 66th Republic Day of India, MyGov members enthusiastically participated in the contest to design e-greetings for the occasion. Over 625 entries were submitted, out of which 18 entries were shortlisted and published on the e-greetings portal.

MyGov members had shared their views on the “Indian Railways” group, which was previously known as the “Digital Rail” group. The group had two discussion topics viz. “Train Enquiry System” and “Ticketing System”.

Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) organised a contest on MyGov to coin an innovative tagline for the nationwide movement for conservation of petroleum products.

E-Governance makes the government at various levels transparent, accountable, responsive and efficient and therefore making ICT one of the most potent tools for realizing the vision of Good Governance. DeitY organized a contest on MyGov inviting citizens to design e-Greetings for Good Governance Day which was celebrated on December 25th, 2014.

Ushering in new opportunities this year, MyGov organized a contest to design e-Greetings for New Year and invited MyGov users to choose the most endearing designs by sharing the selected e-Greetings.

A competition was held through the MyGov Platform for suggesting the Logo, Slogan and Tagline for the New Education Policy of the Government of India. More than 3000 entries were received.
