hi we must think about our fragile eco system I pesonally plantel more then 100 trees in my area (only 20 percent survived) let us make green Independence Day and plant Trees at Aravali Bio Diversity park Gurgaon at 7:00 AM with I AM Gurgaon and GPC Gurgaon to make our city and country green and clean

We have planted 2000 (Two Thousand) Trees in our Farm on 09-08-14 at Laxmipura, Ta: Khedbrahma, Dist:Sabarkantha, Gujarat, India. Objective to save nature and earning after 5 years.

While in command of an Army Installation spread over 800 acres,I was responsible for preservation of natural habitat including wild animals.During my command,not only the green cover increased quantifiably, I was able to rescue at least eight wild elephants fallen in water tanks for storing water for fire fighting.My unit's effort was recognised by an award by State Goverment after visit of Forest Minister.Clipping of rescue may be viewed on web by typing rescue of elephant by Army in Siliguri.

Took couple of kids in building in locality for a walk to know we have birds other than Crows , sparrows and Peigons...taught them how to spot birds and kids enjoyed the wlak spotting Sunbirds, Bats, black kites, parakeets, oriole and coppersmith barbet

We have a smal ngo which is observing World Environment Day sinve last 4 years. This year also we have planted fruit trees in hills, our aim is to plant more trees around 50,000 in Ukhrul districts of Manipur to bring down the temperature and make it a place for tourist spot, we will be planting trees along the roadside to make the place beautiful under the theme, GREEN UKHRUL
