The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in

The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.

The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

Pasighat a city blessed with nature. I dream Pasighat with people all around the world visiting this place. All the clustered transmissions lines should be made underground. So the sky above us is as clear as it is. No household waste litters this place, instead used for generating fuel and power with 24 x 7. Eyes every, every one feels safe invigilance of CCTV and my favourite place General Ground with a world class stadium where I can see my hereos play. By: Miss Oyimi Siram.9863452675

Pasighat an energy-efficient city that uses renewable energy sources as much as possible, including biomass and waste and hydro power.
