Providing a digital identity to all individuals is crucial to facilitate electronic authentication for delivery of online public services. The digital identity must be unique, lifelong, online and authenticable. The digital identity should be easily verifiable in an online and cost-effective way. Aadhaar provides such a digital identity that also serves as a proof of identity and address for individuals. If such a digital identity could be linked to mobile phones in a secure manner, it would make the task of online authentication much easier at the level of the individual. As the penetration of mobile phones is high, this digital identity will facilitate the delivery of online services more easily.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on how mobile phones and digital identity could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities. The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, cost effectiveness, operational efficiency, etc. You can upload your ideas in doc or pdf format.

Mobiles are prefect for identity. They can be linked to our Aadhar and can be used to authenticate a user anywhere. Even let private identities use it for authentication (like "Login using google" works). I have a suggestion to caste votes through mobiles. It would drastically increase the vote share and accessibility. Also digital voting will prevent bogus voting and booth capture. It shall be more genuine.

Just like the government provides the number plates for Vehicles. Indian government should issue phone numbers for the people, instead of the private telecom companies. The phone number can be used as the Primary key and integrate their personal details with it. This can track the person anywhere in the world and provides an easy access to connect with the government operating bodies.

We can join aadhar no to a mobile number and ask that person to keep the same mobile number or make system to easyly inform any change or loss of the number by any cause. This same mobile number can be linked to all services including bank account, ration account, lpg account and many more thus allowing subsidy transfer, incometax collection etc. There are unlimitted possibilities. Even entire money can be moved out of system. There will be no need of currency notes in later stage .

DIFFERENT BAR CODES SHOULD BE ORIGINATED OR MADE FOR EVERY INDIVIDUALS . AND SENT TO THE CELL PHONES . THIS WILL HELP IN IDENTIFICATION OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL AS EVERY ONE TODAY CARRY A CELL PHONE.USING A SMART PHONE OR BAR CODE READER CODES CAN BE SCANNED AND IDENTIFICATION CAN BE DONE. AADHAR CARD ,VOTER CARD etc INFO WITH SERIAL NO. COULD BE NOTED.THIS WILL ALSO HELP IN PREVENTING MULTIPLE MAKING OF CARDS . TECHNO.FOR SINGLE CODE WITH MULTI INFO. authentication of individuals WILL BE EASY .
