लहू पिलाकर धरती को,किया भारत को आजाद
श्रृंगार बनाकर माटी को,किया धरती को उद्धार
बंधन छोड़कर अपनो के,किया देश को मूल्यवान
रिश्ते तोड़कर रक्त के,अदा किया धरा का कर्ज
कितने घर बने मकान,कितनी माँग हुई सूनी
कितनी उम्र शहरो की,कितना नसीब हुआ कफ़न
कितने चिराग़ घरो के,कितने बने अमर ज्योत
कितने लिपटे तिरंगे में,कितने चढ़े सूली पर
नदीयो का चाँदी सा पानी,हुआ रक्त सा लाल
चमकता सूरज सा चेहरा,हुआ राख़ सा सफेद
गुलाम जंजीरो सा बदन,हुआ परिंदे सा आजाद
खामोश मूक सा इंसान,हुआ चहकता सा पंक्षी
