The Ministry of Finance is proposing a national initiative to provide all households in the country with banking services, with particular focus to empower the weaker sections of society, including women, small and marginal farmers and labourers, both urban and rural.

This task seeks inputs to design a Logo, name and tag line for the Finance Ministry's initiative. The last date of submision is 7th August 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Name: Pragman Tagline: Pragatisheel aur Aatmnirbhar Arthik Sanyojan My logo is an attempt to give this outstanding initiative by the government a complete overall image of rising prosperity. Using the rising color of sun and green color of prosperity, I have projected an abstract image of sun and currency. The tagline of my logo means Progressive and Independent Economical Connection with the rural population to helps them utilize their money effectively and become financially independent.

The title of the scheme-Pragman means progress and the logo design features a green wave of progress moving from the middle of the letter “A” in “PrAgman” upwards. This green wave of progress is backed by orange currency notes in abstract form carrying the symbol of rupee in them. These waves together convey the financial security this scheme tends to bring in by helping the rural area population connect effectively with the banks for overall economic development
