Union Government has launched a new crop insurance scheme - Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) for benefit of farmers. The new scheme has extended more protection to farmers against calamities.

Main features of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana:
-Comprehensive risk coverage from pre-sowing to post-harvest losses has been provided under it.
-Premium payable by farmers has been substantially reduced and simplified and there is one pan-India basis for farmers which would be maximum 1.5%, 2% and 5% for all Rabi, Kharif and annual horticultural/commercial crops respectively.
-No capping on premium with no deduction in sum insured.
-Provision for coverage of the risk of post-harvest losses due to cyclonic & unseasonal rains will be applicable on pan-India level.
-Use of technology for early settlement of claims.

As Like Lord Krishna do by Govardhan Parvat, logo is like that. need to prepare a logo from this, like this. Slogan : "Suraksha Fasal ki, Suraksha Kishan ki."

Bottom hand is the receiving hand,that is our nation farmers Top hand is the Govt of India resembling the helping hand supporting our farmers. Combining both hands it seems like emotional touch of protecting our core GDP contributor which comes from agriculture You will see a man and women with hand in hand waking up early and going towards sunrise of success. this entire logo is colored with yellow, as it resembles glory/sunrise, same we expect that our hardworking farmers to flourish.
