Providing citizens with easy access to a shareable private space on a public cloud can greatly facilitate process reengineering through paperless processes. Citizens can digitally store their documents, certificates, etc. and share them with public agencies or others without the need to physically submit them.  Such a ‘digital locker’ will greatly improve citizen convenience and usher in paperless transactions across the entire ecosystem of public services. The access to the private space could be through an online authentication mechanism.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on how to achieve the objective mentioned above. The suggestions may include technical architecture and platform, software to be used, policy guidelines, process improvements, cost effectiveness, operational efficiency, viability analysis, implementation procedures, etc. Suggestions are also welcome on a name for this private space on a public cloud and how the citizen could use the same. You can upload your ideas in doc or pdf format.

I think we should generate document at run time as we have finite number of template we need to maintain instead of storing document itself inside a private space. Refer the document about my thoughts on how this can be build.

1.Space should be provided to organizations to issue certificates who will be authorized to upload them. 2.Each citizen should have one record in the database which can be accessed using UID+username+password. 3.In this database citizens/organizations should be able to store links to certificates under the UID 4.In same database health data of the person can be populated by provider under his UID using certified EMR

Though such a digital locker can be achieved by a tie-up with some tech giant like Microsoft and Google because they already give a lot of space free, the safety of such important content is an issue. The encryption of the data safety is vital else the enemies of countries might exploit this where a normal citizen might suffer.

UID can be used to integrate healthcare data. Patients have to go from GP, to pathology lab to radiology clinic to consultant and finally get admitted in hospital. Everywhere important health data is generated. Patient and doctors should be able to access past history using UID. Name: Sarvatra or Shashwat. This facility should be a paid service, nominally charged. People can apply with their Aadhar cards. Get a login and id. There can be 2 facilities. 1. Just uploading and safe guarding critical docs. 2. Pay additionally and get the docs e-stamped by Govt. body. Then the link of the docs can be shared while applying for bank account, passport, gas or elec connection, education institutes or any place that needs KYC or ID proof. Security is the main concern in a cloud.

As now a days websites are easily hacked so we need a system that have a great security measures for these task. My suggestion is that Each and every individual should have an electronic ID With a bar code on id and we can create an app that can scan these U-ID bar code to give access to the private information of every individual. These electronic ID can be used in various fields as well like we submit various forms in every sector it will eliminate that with the digital signature of your card.
