It has been observed that lack of sanitation facilities has been a major issue in cities and villages. Invariably the poor are worst sufferers due to the lack of such facilities. The solution lies in creating toilets and at the same time devoting energy to maintain them.

Great policy initiative!! Since most of such public toilets would be constructed in areas devoid of severage system, the time tested, economical, quick to construct Army model of Field Flush Latrines (FFLs) based on sceptic tanks may be the most appropriate model. These are made of angle iron frame, CGI sheets, plastic WC seat ... All easy to replace, and shifting on filling up of sceptic tank. The collection in sceptic tanks, if properly treated could be converted to Compost

Great initiative!! Since most toilets of this plan will be constructed in areas devoid of sewerage system, the Army model of Field Flush Latrines (FFLs) may be most appropriate to meet timelines, numbers and economy in cost

We have built a lightweight concrete prototype toilet, to-be-assembled at site in around 3 hours, made of waste thermocol (styrofoam), construction and demolition debris, fly ash, cement, speciality chemicals, etc., precast and light in weight. These can be installed and the sewage can be taken to a duckweed growing pond, harvested duckweed fed to fish in adjoining ponds. Very nice food for fish, farmed for profit. Whole set up will make profit to induce people to use and keep them clean!

EACH STREET SHOULD BE PROVIDED WITH A TOILET IN WHICH YOU CAN ENTER BY PAYING 1 OR 2 RS AND THE OUTSIDE THE PLACE SHOULD HAVE A SURVEILLANCE CAMERA FOR ITS LONG LIFE AND FOR THE USAGE FOR OTHER COMMON PEOPLE AND ITS MAINTENANCE SHOULD BE WELL DEFINED.

Its very difficult job to aware everyone about location of toilet.. sometimes people feel at any location that there must be a toilet but they are not sure...therefore they didn't search it due lack of time... therefore, first of all we assured people about location, they should not confuse for that. it may initiate from here..... if a toilet is compulsory in every PETROL PUMP POLICY. then public will not be confuse & they will mostly prefer it

TOILETS although this should have been done a long ago 1.No. of public toilets should be increased atleast 5 times 2.use of WATER in the toilets is the main cause of un-hygenic environment, bad smell and all the uncleanliness. USE OF TOILET PAPER SHOULD BE IMPLIMENTED 3.group of PROFESSIONAL TOILET CLEANERS should be hired to manage a visit every hour in each public toilets. only a cleaner environment can teach us the to live clean and think clean

If we build public toilets the sanitation is important issue. As this system was already their but failed due to lack of maintenance. Toilets should be make compulsory to the families living in the villages with building proper septic tank and water supply. Some incentive should be given for this purpose. Public toils will be difficult to maintain.

The first step should be about teaching toilet hygiene. people prefer urination outside the pan. They have to be educated that the pan has to be used for both the purposes. This will solve 25% of the cleaning problem of toilets. Household toilets should be the primary target, it should be made mandatory to have a functioning toilet in every household and should be functional. Fine has to be imposed on a non functional toilet. Water availability has to be ensured to keep the toilets functional.
