The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas will be celebrated on 31st October, 2017. The day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
This occasion provides an opportunity to its citizens to re-affirm their pledge towards being the inherent strength from within to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security.
Reinforcing the thought of Unity in Diversity, MHRD is organising an Essay Competition. Individuals are invited to write an essay of not more than 500 words on the theme of ‘United We Stand, Divided We Fall’ on the day of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
The winners will be awarded a certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Last date of submission is 15th November, 2017.
